Product Description:
Modix BIG-60 v4 3D printer is our flagship 3D printer model. Introduced back in 2017 and now in its fourth iteration. Modix BIG-60 presents a competitive mixture of large build volume, premium components and a competitive price. As before, the improvements made in V4 are shared with all other models. New versions are designed with backward compatibility in mind, therefore owners of previous versions enjoy periodical performance improvements and long term high return on their investment.

Modix BIG-60
Base model with a single print head. Starting of Version 4, it comes with Duet and Duex expansion as default.

Enclosure Add-on
The enclosure helps to improve the printer stability providing higher quality print results. It is also captures the bed heater generated heat and helps to reduce wrapping and cracks due to uneven part cooling.
* The large spool shelf shown in the image is a separate add-on.
IDEX Dual Print-head
Print with support materials to better print models with complex or internal geometries.
Don’t let the printer sit idle, use IDEX as an automatic filament changer in a case of a filament run-out.

Magnetic Bed
Enjoy easy part removal and easier bed maintenance.
One side is coated with PEI powder, providing rough bottom texture and the other side is applied with a PEI sheet for a glossy bottom surface.
Z Axis Hiwin Rails
Upgrade the default Z axis smooth rods with high precision HIWIN linear rails. Tall models will enjoy smoother surface finish.
Super Volcano
Upgrade to super high flow E3D SuperVolcano including a Griffin adapter.
Including: E3D Super volcano Heat-block, 80W heater, PT-1000 Thermistor & 1mm nozzle.
Spare Griffin Hotend
Spare Griffin Hotend set.

Griffin High Resolution Hotend

8KG Spool Shelf
The default spool mounting can carry up to 3KG spools only.
This spools shelf add-on can carry up to 8kg. Spool rolls rest on bearing rollers helping the extruders to easily pull.
Casters
The casters add-on will allow you to move the printer around with ease. The casters have adjustable leveling feet to easily adjust the balance of your printer and reduce vibrations.

Extended Warranty
One-year extension of manufacturer’s warranty terms by a continuous period of 12 months starting from the expiry of the standard warranty.
For two years, please add this item twice.
Nozzle-X Pack
Volcano Nozzle-X pack with 3 nozzles (0.4/0.6/0.8mm).
The hardened steel, nickel-plated with a non-stick coating nozzle allows printing abrasive materials (carbon fiber-filled, glass fiber-filled, wood, glitter…) without degrading and is rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C.
